Joint Design Center workshop with young entrepreneurial partners learn to use innovative techniques
From August 27th to 29th, Tsinghua x-lab Joint Design Center held a workshop to invite professors from Northeastern University Business School to interact with entrepreneurial partners to lead entrepreneurial partners to learn innovative techniques and polish their competitive product. In the 3-day workshop, the participating partners benefited a lot.

The workshop’s mentors, Anthony De Ritis and John Friar, teach the management of innovation and innovation programs at the D’Amore-McKim Business School at Northeastern University, which involves students from entrepreneurship and innovation teams. In this workshop, the two instructors introduced innovative techniques and allowed each team to try to incorporate the skills learned into the project.

After the workshop started, the participating entrepreneurs introduced their projects under the guidance of the instructors, and explained the methods of problem statements, narratives illustrating pain points, observation, analogous thinking, rapid prototyping, bringing products or services to the market for rapid prototype feedback, and more.

The entrepreneurial partners who participated in the workshop said that the workshop allowed everyone to have open thinking and in-depth interaction, rather than rigid theoretical instillation, which inspired the creativity of the group. “The workshop is very good,” one young entrepreneur said, “I hope that the tutor can share some social project cases in the future.”
